Embed Your Timetable
Put your next two weeks of classes on your own website, in the same place an old timetable frame used to be. Visitors see times, class names, instructors and spaces left. Pressing Book opens your ClearGym page in a new window, where members log in and book.
Set it up
Only the gym owner can change these settings.
- Go to Settings → Embed your timetable.
- Under Websites allowed to show your timetable, enter your website address, one per line, for example
https://www.yourgym.co.uk. Includehttps://.www.yourgym.co.ukandyourgym.co.ukcount as different websites, so add both if both work. - Choose the button colour, whether it starts on one day or a whole week, and which classes to show. Leave every class unticked to show them all.
- Press Save settings and check the preview.
- Press Copy under Embed code and paste it into your website where the timetable should appear. Most website builders have an "HTML" or "custom code" block for this.
Who can show it
- Only the websites you list can show the timetable. Anyone else who copies the code sees a blank frame.
- With no websites listed, nobody can show it.
- You can list up to 5 websites. Wildcards, paths and addresses without
https://are rejected. - A change can take up to a minute to reach visitors.
What visitors see
- Classes for today and the next 13 days, one day or one week at a time.
- Class name, start time, length, instructor and how many spaces are left. Full classes say so and offer Waitlist.
- Cancelled classes are left out. No prices, names of members or booking numbers are shown.
- A member who is logged out is taken to your login page and then straight to that class. A member who is already logged in goes straight to the class.
Options in the code
The saved settings apply by default. To override them on one page, add these to the script tag:
data-view="week"ordata-view="day": which view the timetable starts on.data-accent="#1d4ed8": the button colour as six-digit hex. Colours that make button text hard to read are ignored.data-classes="12,15": show only these classes, as a comma-separated list of class numbers. Numbers that are not yours are ignored.
For the plain iframe, add the same options to the address instead, for example ?view=week&accent=%231d4ed8.
If you change your gym page address
Code you have already pasted keeps working after you change your address in Settings → Gym page address, so your website does not break.
If your website blocks scripts
Use the Plain iframe code instead. It works the same, but you set the height yourself, so the timetable may show its own scrollbar.
Troubleshooting
- Blank frame: the address of the page showing it is not in your list. Check
wwwandhttps. - No timetable at all: some builders strip
<script>tags. Use the plain iframe. - Wrong classes: check the ticked classes in settings. Classes without upcoming dates do not appear.
